Strain names say little about how a plant smells and acts, the terpenes say more. This module lays out eight of them, from myrcene to ocimene, with molecular formula, molecular weight, boiling range, aromas and the effects attributed to them in the scientific literature. An aroma wheel sorts the smells, a boiling point chart shows which compounds go first and at what temperature. Fifteen well known strains can be compared as radar charts, which makes visible what profile sits behind a name. Every claim about an effect carries its source, so that assertion and evidence stay apart.
